I am excited to announce the beginning of my blog, The Simple and Creative Corner. Here will be where I will share my love for Stampin' Up! I have been a demonstrator for 11 years and have been a hobbyist for the last several years. I am excited and motivated to turn my passion into a business. I will be holding classes, and am available to come to your home or other venue, to share how simple it is to create beautiful cards or other projects.
For my first post I will share a card that was a sample from last weeks Stampin' Up! convention.
Recipe for this card is:
Stamp sets: Flower Shop (130942 clear), Trust God (126702 clear)
Ink: Smoky Slate (131179), Primrose Petal (126858)
Paper: Smoky Slate (131202), Whisper White (100730), Primrose Petal? (126841), Pear Pizzaz? (131201)
Accessories: Tea Lace Paper Doilies (129399), Little Leaves Sizzlit (114511), Pansy Punch (130698), 2 1/2" circle punch (120906), Fancy Fan embossing folder (127751), Stampin Dimensionals (104430)
Cuts used:
Base - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (smoky slate)
1st layer - 4 1/8" x 5 1/4" (whisper white)
2nd layer - 4" x 5 1/8" (smoky slate ran through big shot with Fancy Fan embossing folder)
Assembly:
1) Stamp 2 flowers on Primrose Petal, 1 on Whisper white all in Primrose Petals ink. Use dimentionals to attach to card.
2) Stamp sentiment on Whisper White and punch out using 2 1/2" circle punch.
3) Punch flowers out using Pansy Punch. Run the Pear Pizzaz through big shot with Little Leaves Sizzlits twice.
4) Layer as picture shows and wallaah! Beautiful!!
