ICS Blog Hop Giving Thanks

Yah for fall!  My favorite time of the year.  I was inspired by the scenery in my neighborhood and right outside my stamp room.  Also, I was able to use one of my favorite stamp sets, Sheltering Tree.

I love a simple and clean card.

ICS Blog Hop Fall for All

Oh Boy!!!!!  My favorite time of year!  I just love fall with all the colors and the cooler weather, (yes I'm one of those wierdos who likes cold weather).

I have chose to use the September My Paper Pumpkin kit a little different than what is in the kit.  I just love the stamp set that came with it, so versatile.

For my card, I used Cajun Craze, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Very Vanilla.  For ink colors, there are Cajun Craze, Bermuda Bay (even though it doesn't look like the card stock in the picture, it does in person), Crushed Curry.  Used the raffia in the kit and put a metal rimmed pearl in the center of the bow.  The punch I used was our Decorative Label punch.

ICS Blog Hop Butterflies Are Free

This month we are celebrating butterflies!  Who doesn't love butterflies?  This is a card I created for a swap I'm doing at the Stampin' Up! convention, I really cannot wait to be inspired even more at convention.

The Watercolor Wings stamp set on page 75 of the 2015-2016 catalog is a fun set.  It is actually a simple 3 step stamp for the 2 different size butterflies.

ICS Blog Hop Introducing the 2015-2017 In Colors

Hooray!!!!  The new 2015-2016 Idea Book and Catalog is out and I am in love as well as going to be broke, lol!  Our hop this month is featuring the new 2015-2017 In Colors: Cucumber Crush, Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron, Tip Tip Taupe, Watermelon Wonder.

This months hop we are celebrating DAD'S!  The layout idea for my card came from frenchiestamps.com from a stamper named Lisa F.

I like how the woodgrain tief turned out, it kinda looks like a pond with ripples.

ICS Blog Hop Happy Mothers Day

This month our hop is celebrating "Mothers".  The card I chose to make is a representation of how I feel every single day.  I lost my mother January of 2014 and not a day goes by that I don't think of her.  She was also a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and loved to make cards.  I make this card in honor of her.

The design was inspired by Michelle Long at stampin365.com.

ICS Blog Hop - Spring is in the Air

 Yes, spring is in the air.  Love the cherry blossom trees blooming this time of year.  Our hop for this month is "Spring is in the Air".  I have chosen a stamp set out of the 2015 Occasions Catalog.  If you get this stamp set you will definitely want the Painted Blooms Designer series paper to go with it or to use by itself.

Ink:  Blackberry Bliss, Pear Pizzazz

Paper:  Whisper White, Blackberry Bliss

Accessories:  Top Note bigshot die, Spring Flowers TIEF, dimensionals, Blackberry Bliss 3/8" stitched satin ribbon, sponge daubers.

After I ran the white through the Spring Flowers TIEF, I sponged some Blackberry Bliss and Pear Pizzazz on the embossed image.

ICS Blog Hop Be Mine

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!  This is going to be a great year with Stampin' Up!  We have the Occasions Catalog and the Sale-a-Bration Catalog out now and are they fabulous!!!  

This month our hop is "Be Mine" and when I saw the heart textured impressions embossing folder I knew I had to have it.  Along with the Spring Flowers textured impressions embossing folder.

My card uses Real Red, Black and Crushed Curry.
