Card Swap for Convention

I created these cards after seeing Christine Pyrch's design (www.yourstampingteacher.com) and changed mine to monochromatic for a convention swap I am in.
I used 4 of the five new in-colors for 2014-2016, Tangelo Orange, Lost Lagoon, Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey. The fifth in-color not shown is Mossy Meadow.

These first two cards are an example of Christine's card except I changed the label and saying.

I love trying new folds.

So what do you think of the monochromatic? I will be adding rhinestones to the 3 flowers that are punched out on the left of the card. I think my favorite is the Blackberry Bliss...love that color. Also, which label looks the best? Small or Large "Thank You"?

New Header

You'll notice my new header is my first attempt in creating one, with the help of the MDS queen, Sherry Nye. Thanks Sherry for your time and patience. Can't wait to play with MDS some more.

It's a Man Thing Blog Hop

I am so glad Stampin' Up! brought back The Open Seas stamp set. It's one of my favorite stamps sets to use with "guy" cards.

The measurements for the Daffodil Delight is 3 1/2 x 2 1/2, and the Night of Navy (under the boat) is 3 x 2 1/4.

The first layer is Chocolate Chip which I ran through with the Argyle TIEF (textured impressions embossing folder). And card base is Very Vanilla same as the stamped pieces.

The accessories used are: Argyle TIEF, Decorative Label Punch, and brads.

Stamp Set: Banner Blast (SAB 133554 clear), Fabulous Florets (123027 clear), Another Thank You photopolymer stamp set (133454)

Paper: Wisteria Wonder (122922), Whisper White (100730)

Ink: Wisteria Wonder (126985), Strawberry Slush (131178), Old Olive (126953), Stazon Jet Black (101406)

Accessories: Banner Punch (133519 SAB), Dimensionals (104430), Rhinestone Basic Jewels (119246)

Card Base is Wisteria Wonder 5 1/2 x 4 1/4

Whisper White is 3 1/2 x 2 1/2

Stamp flower on card base using Wisteria Wonder ink
Stamp other flower on Whisper White using Wisteria Wonder ink
Then stamp same flower using Strawberry Slush on to Whisper White and cut out
Stamp two leaves with Old Olive and cut out
Stamp another flower and cut out using it to mask the Wisteria Wonder flowers to stamp the leaf using Old Olive Ink
Stamp "Thanks" using Jet Black StazOn
Stamp banner from Banner Blast set from Sale-a-bration catalog using Strawberry Slush and punch with Banner Punch from Sale-a-bration catalog
Attach White piece, the cut out Strawberry Slush flower and leaves, and banner with dimensionals
Add rhinestones to banner
